Town Travel to Meadow Lane without a deluge of big name players. Tommy Miller, Martijn Reuse, Chris Makin, Darren Bent, Drissa Diallo and John McGreal all miss out through Injury. Meanwhile On loan Midfielder Chris Bart Williams is set to miss out after not being given permission to play in the Carling Cup so he is not cup-tied when he goes back to Charlton at the end of his months loan.
Due to the injuries sustained, Gerard Nash and Sam Morrow have been called into their first squad for the blues senior side, and also promoted is Matthew Bloomfield, who looks set to line up on the bench along with Nash and Morrow for a possible first senior apperance.
Joe Royle has confirmed in the absence of Bart-Williams and Bent, that Dean Bowditch and Ian Westlake will start: "Dean will be making his full debut against Notts County and deserves his chance. He has a terrific temperament and shows no signs of nerves at all, despite his age."
