When Darren Bent moved to Charlton in the summer of 2005, the Blues received an initial £2.5 Million for the academy graduate.
Town also could make another £500,000 on the deal through the tie-ins that were involved. The club has already received £100,000 of that money through two sums of £50,000 after 20 and 40 game milestones.
The remaining £400,000 could be made this summer in Germany, with the club receiving payments of £200,000 for each of Bent's first two competitive international matches.
With Wayne Rooney sidelined with a metatarsal injury until at least the knock-outs stages, Erikksson mentioned Bent as one of his strikers on Wednesday. The others were named as; Owen, Crouch and Defoe.
With the Spurs striker, Defoe, being on the bench for a significant part of 2005/2006, Bent, who has scored 18 Premiership goals in his debut season for Charlton, should have the edge.
