Academy in Action

Last week the Under 19's drew their first match of the season away against Stoke City with the score being 2-2. The under 17's are not running this season due to the shortage of players due to the clubs period in administration meaning many of the under 19's are playing for the reserves and the under 17's playing for the under 19's.

It is likely that academy coach Ian Smith will put out a side of many players under 18 due to most of the more senior players being involved in this weeks reserves friendly against Cambridge which finished 0-0.
