Speaking to the Official Club Website, Armstrong said: "I can't thank Joe and Ipswich enough for what they have done for me over the last two years. When I've been injured they have let me use the facilities at the training ground and also helped with my general fitness.
"I'm just about recovered from a lower back injury and am working towards match fitness and Ipswich have helped me all the way by allowing me to train at the Club.
"We still live in the area. My family love it down here and we don't want to move away from Suffolk but I need to find a new club so we might have to do that."
