The former Sheffield Wednesday and Leyton Orient player was on loan for initally a month, with a view to a further two months afterwards depending on Charlton's squad situation, which tonight was deemed to be ok so Bart-Williams was allowed to stay for at least another month.
Speaking to the Official Club Website, Royle confirmed: I've spoken with Charlton boss Alan Curbishley and he has agreed that we can extend Chris' loan spell for another month.
"Chris has made a great contribution for us and has helped release Jim Magilton into an attacking midfield role that has brought some match-winning performances. I am delighted he will be able to stay with us longer."
