Bart-Williams Signs on Loan

The Former Sheffield Wednesday and Leyton Orient player has been capped at England Under 21 level, but has not been holding a regular first team place for over a year at the Addicks. He made 13 apperances last year, 6 of which were a substitute for Matt Hollands club.

Speaking of the move to the Official Club Website, Town manager Joe Royle spoke of his delight in bringing in a second loanee after securing the services of Alan Mahon from Blackburn earlier this week : "Chris is a big, strong midfielder and the type of player we need at the moment."
