Bent Out of Crewe Clash

Bent has not appeared for the blues since picking up a knock against Derby in the third round of the FA Cup on his ankle and also has not took part in training due to the knock sustained in the game against George Burley's men.

With the problem not seeming to clear up, Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle confirmed to the Official Club website that he had been sent for scans to find out what the problem is: "Darren is still having problems with the ankle and will have x-rays to find out if there is something more to it than meets the eye,"

"He has not been able to train since the Derby game and is certainly out of the reckoning for Crewe at the weekend."
