Bent missed both of Town's last two games at the Madejski Stadium due to illness, and with both teams look for promotion to the English Premiership, the England Under 21 striker feels the match is very much an important one.
Speaking to the Official Club Website, Town's leading goalscorer admitted: "I was ill for both our games there over the last two years so it will be my first trip to the stadium and I'm looking forward to it. It's a massive game for both clubs and I can see it being a very tight one as well.
"There wasn't much between the sides when we met at Portman Road earlier this season and I'm not surprised they are up there challenging for promotion.
"But the players are buzzing in the dressing-room and we will go there full of confidence. We also know that a win will take us 12 points clear of them while Reading will be going all out to close that gap so it should be a cracking game."
