Bent Staying with England

The product of the Town academy was first thought to be ruled out due to not recovery from an injury he sustained in time, but has made a quick recovery, and has today joined up with the rest of the Under 21s.

Speaking to the Official Club Website, Town manager Joe Royle confirmed: "There was a feeling on Wednesday that Darren would be sent back to us but he has stayed with England and is now training. The fact that they have kept him perhaps indicates that he will be involved on Friday."
