The former Celta Vigo frontman made his last apperance for the club a month ago where he sustained a strained hamstring which meant he only returned to the first team fold on Saturday where he was an unused substitute for the visit of Derby.
It was presumed by many that Royle would give his Spanish top scorer a runout in yesterdays reserve clash at Stevenage, however the blues boss admitted he did not feel it was necessary because he will play a lot of games this season.
"Pablo has only missed a couple of weeks' training, and sometimes you have to judge the benefits of a player turning out for the reserves." Royle explained to the East Anglian Daily Times.
