Boss Hails Super Sito

Speaking to the Ipswich Evening Star, the former Everton boss said: "It doesn't happen very often but every now and again you are recommended a player who immediately stands out. And this is what happened in the case of Sito, who has adapted to the Championship like a duck to water.

“He was recommended by the friend of a friend, and within 10 minutes of watching him train I said to coach Willie Donachie that this lad will do.

“And he has proved me right. He has made it clear that he wants to be with Ipswich, and he is terrific to have around the place.

“Sito has set high standards, and for all the trialists that come nowhere the right standard there is occasionally one that makes the grade.”
