The news comes a month after ITFM revealed the bust-up between Bowditch and his manager and we can now reveal that the young striker's frustration at being left out of consecutive first-team squads has lead him to request a loan move, which he hopes will allow him to demonstrate what he is capable of.
Boss Joe Royle appeared upbeat abut it all, he said: "If Dean goes off and kick-starts what we all know is an outstanding talent, we will all benefit.
"He spoke to me about going out on loan, which will hopefully get him going and see him score a few goals. We have had one or two clubs asking about him and Dean's agent is also looking around on his behalf."
The two clubs are Blackpool and Gillingham. Blackpool made an unsuccessful loan bid for fellow striker Dean McDonald last week.
