Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has revealed Ipswich have made an enquiry about Marton Fulop. The goalkeeper, who spent the end of last season on loan at Manchester City, appears to be surplus to requirements at the Premier League club and Bruce is happy to let him move on. Bruce is currently pondering his options - a deal for David James is believed to be under consideration - with Gordon destined to miss the opening months of the new campaign with his second arm fracture in eight months. He told the Journal: "There has been an enquiry from Ipswich, but I don't think there has been a bid yet. There has been talk with a number of other clubs as well. "I'm sure he will go. He wants to play football and I'm not going to stand in his way. "With the injury to Craig, it has got me thinking a bit (about the goalkeeping situation) but Marton wants to play regularly so something will happen there. I don't know whether it will be Ipswich, we'll have to wait and see."
