Camara a Town Target

Camara's contract at Turf Moor expires at the end of the season and Clarets boss Steve Cotterill has confirmed that he will not be offering the player another deal.

Town were linked with a move for Camara, a good friend of current Town defender Drissa Diallo earlier in the year when Royle admitted to making an offer for the Guinea born player, but the offer was turned down by the Clarets.

Scottish giants Celtic were also rumoured to be interested in the 29 year old, but so far have not publicly declared their interest in signing the former Wolverhampton Wanderers defender.

With the defender certain to leave Lancashire in the Summer, Town boss Joe Royle is likely to make a move for the defender in pre-season should Celtic not beat him to it.
