Hamer missing for Addicks
Charlton goalkeeper Ben Hamer is out of the home game against Ipswich.
Hamer suffered an ankle injury during the warm-up prior to Tuesday night's clash with Doncaster and, although an X-ray showed the problem is not too serious, he faces a couple of weeks on the sidelines.
Former Tottenham and Sunderland keeper Ben Alnwick was drafted in for his debut and kept a clean sheet in Charlton's 2-0 win, so he will keep his place with youngster Nick Pope on the bench after being recalled from his loan at York.
Chris Solly (knee) is back in training but will not return to the team just yet and fellow defender Leon Cort (knee) remains sidelined so boss Chris Powell could name an unchanged side.
Jordan Graham comes into contention for his Ipswich debut.
The versatile winger arrived on loan from Aston Villa on Thursday and is pushing to start at The Valley as Town aim to improve upon a run of one win in seven matches.
Left-back Aaron Cresswell returns to the fold having completed a two-match suspension, but manager Mick McCarthy does have injury concerns in the shape of Paul Taylor and Luke Hyam.
Striker Taylor (shoulder) and midfielder Hyam (back) both missed training on Thursday and will be assessed ahead of the encounter, with McCarthy hopeful they will be okay to travel.
