The 29 year old midfielder is currently in his second month of a loan period that could last up to three months subject to Charlton biss Alan Curbishley giving the go ahead at the end of the month, and has impressed many with his solid peformances in the heart of the Ipswich Town midfield.
Bart-Williams admits he always thought Ipswich was a good club, and is pleased that he has been proved right and would love to stay beyond his proposed 3 month loan spell: "I knew Ipswich were a good club with good players and I have enjoyed it from day one really," he told the Official Club Website.
"My fitness is improving with every game now and with another month here, I am confident the team will see the benefits of that. It's great to be back playing first-team football again after 18 months in the Charlton reserves but I have not just come here to play League football,"
"I am a winner, always have been and looking around at the players here, I see no reason why Ipswich should not be involved in the promotion race. I have no doubts that the team is good enough to finish in the top six at the very least. If I did not believe that I would not be here."
"If everything works out well I would like to stay here as long as I can, to the end of the season would be fine and play my part in getting the Club in the Play-Offs. The top six is what I'm aiming at and I'll be pushing myself - and my team-mates- to get there."
