Luciano Civelli is set to make his first appearance for Ipswich in 16 months when the club begin their pre-season schedule at Newmarket on Tuesday. Civelli, who has been out of action since sustaining knee ligament damage in March 2009, only returned to full training last week. But he has been named as part of a strong 22-man squad for the friendly against the Ridgeons League club. "It's good that Luca is back with us and out on the training field," manager Roy Keane told the club's official website. "The boy has had a bad injury and he's had to be patient. "He still has a long way to go yet as well but he's making progress and that's obviously good news for Luca and for the football club."
