De Vos backing Counago return

Speaking to the Ipswich Evening Star, Canadian international De Vos said: "Pablo is a real handful to play against - and you only have to ask Ipswich defenders who face him in training every week.

"When he is in the mood like he was on Sunday he can make a big impact on any game."

Many Town fans have criticised Town boss Joe Royle for not using Counago enough this season, something when asked about, De Vos did not wish to comment on directly.

"To criticise the manager at this stage of the season would be very harsh. He has done a magnificent job to steer us to third place in the table on a very limited budget." said the former Wigan centre back.
