Speaking to the Official Club Website, the Canadian International said: "We've had a very good season, no one can deny that but having come this far we want to take that extra step and reach the Premiership.
"I'll admit that I'm not a fan of the Play-Offs. In my opinion whoever finishes in the top three after a 46 game season deserves to go up.
"That's always been my view. It was the same when we just missed out on the top six when I was at Wigan last season.
"But the rules are there and you get on with it and having finished well clear of the other teams in there, we will go into the Play-Offs full of confidence."
