Speaking to ITFC.co.uk, Town's number four admitted: "I shouldn't have really played at Nottingham because the knee was very sore. But I've had a session in the swimming pool this morning and it feels a lot better than it did 24 hours ago."
Former Wigan man De Vos has also been called up to face Guatemala as part of Canada's World Cup qualifying squad, but says Town come first: "Although playing for my country is important to me, my responsibility to Ipswich obviously comes first."
