Dinning on Blues Move

Speaking to the Official Club Website, Dinning, who joins from Wigan Athletic said: "I'm delighted to be here, initially on loan and hopefully I can do enough in the two months to persuade the manager to make the move a permanent one.

"Once I knew of the Club's interest I spoke to Jason De Vos, who I was with at Wigan last season, about coming here and he said it's a great place to play football.

"But I have played at Portman Road many times and I know the standing the Club has in the game so I'm really pleased to be here and looking forward to playing for Ipswich Town."

Dinning will go straight into Town's squad to face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Wednesday in their first Coca-Cola Championship away game of the season.
