The former Burnley defender who joined the club for a free transfer in the Summer has been ruled out since September after colliding with fellow centre back Georges Santos, and required surgery to correct medial ligament damage.
But now there is light at the end of the tunnel for the Guinea international, and Town boss Joe Royle feels that the return of Drissa will be great news for the club: "Drissa is closing in on a return now after a long time out and it will be a real boost to the squad to have him back in contention again." he told the Official Club Website.
