However with Elliott now back at The Walkers Stadium and Leicester back in Division One, Joe Royle admits he's not yet sure where Elliott will be next season.
Speaking to the Official Club Website the blues boss said: "He was terrific for us at the back and brought some leadership qualities but I don't know what will happen with him next year. With Leicester dropping down to the First Division, they may want to keep him anyway."
