Elliott Joins on a Months Loan

Elliott has clocked up around 600 appereances in professional football and has won 18 caps for his country Scotland and looks likely to start for the blues in Tuesday's clash against Wallsall away from home due to Town's centre back shortage which was further increased with Drissa Diallo and Georges Santos picking up injuries during the first half of Saturday's game with Millwall.
Speaking to the Official Club Website Town manager Joe Royle confirmed: "I have been chasing Matt for three weeks and am delighted that he has agreed to join us.
"Matt will be with us for a month and has come in a time when we are experiencing an injury crisis at the back. In fact, at the moment, he is our only fit centre-half!"
