Town have took just one point from their first two away games of the season against Derby County and Nottingham Forest and few would argue that they could have no real complaints if they had come away with nothing from both games.
Dutchman Wilnis admitted to the Colchester Evening Gazette that the away form from the blues needs to improve: "It's frustrating that we don't seem able to play as well away as we do at Portman Road.
"You could see that here and you could see it in our performance at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday. I can't put my finger on the reasons why.
"Maybe we feel we've got more of a licence to attack at home and that's one of our biggest strengths. We certainly don't seem as confident with our passing and that's very disappointing."
