Originally the Dutch defender had lined up Feyenoord, but the club decided they would wish to play a friendly at home on the same date, in the build up to the new Dutch season and therefore were forced to pull out of the original date with Town.
Fabian yesterday ended his professional playing career as his Gray Athletic side managed to beat Forest Green Rovers by two goals to one in a Blue Square Premier tie.
