Garvan Happy for Swift Chance to Make Amends

"It is good that we have a game so quick to be able to put things right and hopefully we will do that at Bristol." he told the EADT.

Town's awful performance in the 3-1 defeat at Portman Road at the weekend left many fans calling for manager Jim Magilton to either be sacked or resign form his post, but Garvan says that the players should look at themselves rather than the manager.

"I can only speak for myself but it is not good for the manager when that happens. As a player you just go out and do our best and let the fans do what they want to do." Garvan added.

"The performance wasn't good enough and we have to look at ourselves. e were slow all over the park and we did not play well enough. It wasn't good enough and we know we can do better so we need to do that.

"It is hard to put our fingers on why that was. We all went out there wanting to do well but it just didn't happen for us. We looked lacklustre."
