Martinez told the Wigan Evening Post: "It's fair to say there is strong interest there from Ipswich Town.
"A few other clubs have also asked us about Jason. It's not the first time that a few clubs have been in for one of our players."
He added: "We'll see what happens. It's just a case now of sitting down with all the parties and working out what is the best move for Wigan Athletic."
Scotland was prolific in the Championship and League One for Swansea, scoring 45 goals in 90 league games over two years for the Welsh club.
However, his £2m move to Wigan to follow manager Martinez last summer saw him find the net just once in 32 Premier League appearances.
He has also been on target five times in 24 internationals for Trinidad & Tobago.
