Cheick Kourouma could be in line for his long-awaited Ipswich debut when they host Wolves.
The French midfielder had been on trial at Portman Road since the end of last season and was set to agree terms in the summer but a potential deal was held up by possible compensation claims from his former clubs.
Town registered all necessary paperwork for the 20-year-old before the transfer deadline last month and he has finally been handed clearance to play.
Skipper Carlos Edwards came through last weekend's defeat at Middlesbrough unscathed on his return from a groin injury and will retain his place.
The Tractor Boys are without a win in their last four matches in all competitions and currently sit in the relegation zone after a disappointing start to the season.
Wolves boss Stale Solbakken has a fully-fit squad to choose from.
Returning trio Bjorn Sigurdarson, Razak Boukari and Kevin Foley were all included in Sunday's squad for the win over Leicester and are expected to retain their place in the 18.
But all three had to settle for a place on the bench following their return from injuries and Solbakken is likely to name the same starting XI that edged past the Foxes.
That win was only their second of the season but striker Kevin Doyle believes it is a result they can build on.
"It's still early in the season but it got us up into the top half of the table and it meant we're looking forward to the two away games in the next six days," he told the club's official website.
"We have to keep that winning feeling and get used to it again."
