McCarthy ponders an unchanged XI
Mick McCarthy may well keep faith with an unchanged side for a third successive match as Ipswich host to Yeovil.
McCarthy watched Town come from behind to record a 3-1 win over Middlesbrough on Saturday having kept faith with the same XI who drew with Birmingham prior to the international break.
Goalkeeper Dean Gerken played the entire 90 minutes despite needing stitches to a nasty cut on his knee and he should again be available to face the Glovers.
Daryl Murphy replaced Frank Nouble at half-time against Boro and will be hoping to push for a starting berth, along with fellow substitutes Carlos Edwards and Jay Tabb.
Liam Fontaine is set for the first start of his loan spell with Yeovil.
The Bristol City loanee stepped off the bench in the 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and put in a memorable display that received praise from manager Gary Johnson.
His introduction came because of Byron Webster's first-half red card and, with the centre-back subsequently suspended, Fontaine looks set to start at Portman Road alongside Dan Seaborne.
Joe Ralls should be given the nod once more after an impressive goalscoring display at Hillsborough while Kevin Dawson and Sam Foley are both pushing for starts.
