Shefki Kuqi and Tommy Miller yesterday informed Town they would not be signing new contracts with the club, joining released pair Drissa Diallo and Pablo Counago alongside the sold Darren Bent and Kelvin Davis outside the Portman Road Exit door.
Speaking to the Official Club Website of the changes, former Everton boss Royle said: "Players come and go, that's the nature of football. Change can be good anyway and can have a positive effect on a team.
"We will be bringing new players in, that's for sure and things are moving in the right direction although it's not a race.
"We will make our move when things are in place and we think we have the right players to fit into this Club.
"We also have some very good young players coming through the ranks and while it's a big step up- to go from Academy and reserve team football to the first-team, they will be hungry and eager to show they are ready - and if they prove they are ready, they will get their chance.
"So there will be some new faces in our squad next season and hopefully some new heroes for the Tractor Boys and Girls."
