Ipswich manager Roy Keane is closing in on an unnamed signing after revealing he has had an offer accepted for a player. The Tractor Boys have recently been linked with Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop and Cardiff defender Gabor Gyepes, but Keane is keeping the identity of the player under wraps. Keane is hoping to have two or three new faces in before next weekend's friendly clash against Premier League side West Ham. "I was hoping that we could have got a couple of players in earlier but things take time in football and I've not been too worried about it," Keane told the club's official website. "We are making progress now though and we've had one offer accepted for a player this (Friday) morning so I've got to try and finalise things with that. "We are close on that deal and with another player, which will be a year long loan. There could also be movement with another player coming in as well so I'll be talking to two or three players over the next few days. "The players concerned include two that I had in mind at the end of last season. I had a target list of four or five players and, while you rarely get all five, if I get two out of the five I will be pleased."
