Speaking to the Official Club Website after the game Keane said: "It was a very important three points, especially with the run of away games we have coming up.
"We made it difficult for ourselves after letting them back in the game when we had the chances to have really tied the game up before that.
"The full-backs did well, Jaime Peters and Jack [Colback]. We felt they could get at QPR and there were a lot of positives to take from the 90 minutes.
"Murph got another goal, and could have had another one. Pablo worked well up front and although we had some anxious moments at the end, I can't be critical of my players because it was a big win for us."
