Ipswich manager Roy Keane is in no hurry to bring in an assistant and is focusing on bringing in new players instead. Keane revealed at the end of last season that he would like to add "someone with experience of managing at the top level", but has put it on the backburner. Keane said: "It's not been a priority for me this summer. I spoke to one person who I felt I could have worked with and we had some good conversations, but he's ended up getting a job himself. "I've been too busy with other things at the moment. I want to focus on trying to bring in one or two new faces to the squad and also concentrating on the players here already and getting things right for the new season." Keane has boosted his coaching staff with the addition of former Liverpool defender Gary Ablett, who has agreed a one-year contract.
