The former Sunderland boss was originally planned to move to Woodbridge when joining the club last April and spoke of his attraction to the area, however the deal for the original residence lined up fell through, and the Irishman opted for a house in costal town Aldeburgh.
Recently poor weather in Keane's current area left him stranded and unable to make a press conference at Portman Road and it is understood that the experiences during this winters big freeze may have played a part in his decision to relocate.
In addition a move to the Woodbridge area would mean Keane who expects his players to live close to the Town is closer to the club's training ground at Playford Road, cutting down his current 45 minute travel time to just 25 minutes.
