Ipswich manager Roy Keane has wrapped a protective arm round Luciano Civelli after the Argentinian winger's return to action. Civelli, signed for a reported £1million from Atletico Banfield in January 2009, was sidelined for 16 months with knee ligament damage before his comeback in Ipswich's 9-1 win over Newmarket on Tuesday night. Keane told the club's official website: "It was good to see Luca back playing football again, but we have to be careful with him. "He's only had 25 minutes so we don't want to get ahead of ourselves. It was great for the fans to see him again. He came to the club with big expectations, but had a really bad injury and had setback after setback. "Sixteen months is a long, long time out and it's not just about the physical side of recovering from that injury, but the mental side as well. "Hopefully there will be no reaction and he's got through that first barrier. We can then look to give him another run out on Friday (against Histon)."
