On a very busy transfer deadline Keane raided former club Sunderland to sign strike duo Daryl Murphy and David Healy, whilst Tamas Priskin joined QPR on loan and Alex Bruce joined Leicester City on loan until the end of the season.
The Championship loan window opens in around a weeks time, and Keane says that he will be looking to add one or two extra players to Town's rank when the time comes.
Speaking to the Official Club Website this morning Keane confirmed: "We tried for one more signing on deadline day. We were close but it didn't quite happen for us. It's about getting the balance of the squad right and I think there is one area that we really need to strengthen.
"We will keep looking and when the loan window opens again, we will have another look. I'd like to bring in another one or two more if we can.
"They need to be players who want to come and play at this Football Club though. If they are not sure they want to come when we talk to them then it won't happen."
