Speaking after the game Keane told the official club website: "The lads thought Beattie was offside and we didn't need to concede an early goal because Swansea are good at keeping possession.
"I was pleased with the way we responded though and it was a well worked goal for the equaliser.
"I think we did enough to have won the game and we had the chances to have done that in the second-half but didn't show the quality we needed.
"It was a bad goal to give away as well, a straight ball over the top but our 'keeper hardly had a save to make so there are signs that we are getting there. We just need that win to give everyone a lift."
