Speaking to the Official Club Website, the former Luton keeper said: "I see the Gillingham game as a point won really rather than two lost.
"We didn't play well but going into the week with Forest, Cardiff and Gillingham to play we would have taken seven points out of nine.
"Fair play to Gillingham, they are fighting to beat the drop and didn't let us get our passing game going, the pitch didn't help either.
"But we are still right in the promotion race and with seven games to go, the confidence in the camp is high.
"We are not looking past our next game against Derby but there is everything to play for, we know that."
