Leadbitter and Edwards Deals Agreed

Current Town boss Roy Keane worked with both players whilst manager at Stadium of Light, and has stated on a number of occasions that he would like to bring in players which he has worked with before.

Confirming the news this morning on Sky Sports News Bruce said: "We have given both players permission to go and speak with Roy. We'll see what develops after that."

Meanwhile Town continue to be linked with a fresh bid for striker or wide midfielder Darryl Murphy, however Bruce says he is not aware of any deal in the pipeline for the Irishman's services.
