Speaking to the Official Club Website, former Northern Ireland international Magilton said: "I have been taking my coaching qualifications over the past few months but they had to take a back seat towards the end of the season because we were playing so much.
"I'm hoping to make up for lost time during the summer but I have to admit I've not taken to it as easy as I thought I would. I think it's because I am still playing and it's not that easy to make the transition.
Magic Looking at Coaching Future
"Coaching does appeal to me and maybe if I had the opportunity to learn the ropes under an experienced manager, then I could develop my career from there.
"For now though, I want to carry on playing as long as possible. I still feel I've got a few years left in the tank."
