The former Northern Ireland midfielder spent this morning working alongside Town fitness coach Simon Thadani as he steps up his return to training in preperation for this Saturday's away clash against Reading in the Coca-Cola Championship.
Speaking to the Official Club Website, Thadani confirmed: "Jim is progressing well and all the signs are that he will be fine for the Reading game,"
Meanwhile longer term injury victim Drissa Diallo is also making progress and will hopefully be involved in Town's second string clash with Coventry City next Tuesday.
"Drissa is getting there and hopefully will step up his training over the next 48 hours." Thadani confirmed.
