The Town boss who has come under increasing fire in the past few days after a run of poor performances and revelations that he held a secret meeting with prefered members of his playing staff, took offence to the approach the local print press have been taking in recent weeks.
Magilton was asked about the future of Town defender Alex Bruce, who's contract expires at the end of the season along with questions on the 'Secret Meeting' that was reported to have been held with select members of the first tem squad prior to the Norwich game which was said to have caused dressing room unrest.
After clearly growing ever frustrated with questions that were being asked in relation to the two topics, Magilton snapped: "This conference is over I have nothing else to say.
"It is just one of many meetings I have and I had another one yesterday. I don't mind stories that are somebody's opinion but the story I read this week was allegedly factual and the facts were wrong."
Just yesterday, the Northern Irishman admitted for the first time that he had doubts over his future at the club. This mornings actions would have done little to help his cause, showing the pressure is very much on and is set to fuel rumours about a possible change of manager in the near future.
