The 28 year old former Norwich and England Under 21 international was handed a free transfer by Town boss Joe Royle last season after some inconsistant displays, but as yet has had no-one interested in signing him full time despite an earlier loan spell with Premiership's Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Following his loan spell at the Midlands club, Marshall originally joined Millwall on a months loan, a deal which expires this weekend with Marshall so far only having played twice for the London club.
However Millwall have enquired about taking Marshall on loan for another month, and if they do Andy may face Town when the two sides meet on Saturday March 13th.
"Millwall have asked us if Andy can stay there another month and we won't stand in his way. If he agrees then it's likely the nature of the deal would mean Millwall would be able to play him at Portman Road when they come here." Town Boss Joe Royle confirmed to the Official Club Website.
