Marshall has been in exile all season, not even making the bench on one occasion after having a poor season last term, and has been behind both Kelvin Davis and Lewis Price in the Portman Road pecking order, but Town boss Joe Royle has admitted that Andy is very much in contention to start on Saturday, along with Lewis Price should Davis fail to recover.
Speaking to the Official Club Website, Town boss Joe Royle confirmed: "Kelvin was pretty poorly on Thursday and was sent home with a pocketful of antibiotics. Hopefully he will be okay for Saturday because he has been brilliant for us this season but if he doesn't make it, I will have a decision to make."
"Lewis Price has come into the first-team picture this season and done well while Andy Marshall is obviously a very experienced 'keeper."
ITFM suggests that if indeed Marshall does play, that Town fans, particuarly those in the North Stand, give him 100% backing, boo-ing your own players never helps.
