Manchester United centre back Jonny Evans restored the lead for the Greens just inside the second half before Michal Zewlakow double the home sides lead by putting through his own net on the hour mark.
Southampton striker Marek Saganowski completed the scoring for the game, with an injury time strike for the visitors, but it was too little too late for Poland who drop to fifth in the group, whilst Northern Ireland top the group, although Slovakia, Slovenia and Czech Republic all have 2 games in hand.
