McGreal doubtful for Eagles clash

McGreal was replaced by Thomas Gaardsoe at half-time during the UEFA Cup win over Slovan Liberec on Thursday and has been undergoing treatment all week on the injury and now faces a race against time to be ready for Sunday.

"John took a knock on his calf in the game and felt it tighten up a bit," says Town boss Joe Royle.

"We took him off because we didn't want it to develop into a strain."
