The former Tranmere Rovers central defender partnered Georges Santos in the heart of defence for the Division One clash, and Town at last managed to keep a clean sheet for just ths seventh time this season.
"We defended really well after working hard to reach these levels. We had fallen below them, which was why we lost a bit of ground in the promotion race, and we must now strive to keep the run going." McGreal admitted on Tuesday afternoon.
"The clean sheet was our reward and it means a lot to defenders when the opposition don't score. It always gives you a chance. The aim now is to push on from here and put in a good finish to the season to ensure we at least make the play-offs, if not the top two places."
