Speaking to the Ipswich Evening Star, Naylor, Town's longest serving player said: "We trust the gaffer and we all believe we can still enjoy some successful times with the club, although having to cut the wage bill has obviously made life that bit more difficult.
"People should remember that thanks to the manager we improved our position last season on the previous one, despite losing key players. We all have total trust in the manager and believe we can do it again.
"Automatic promotion must be our aim and we have to possess the desire to do well. The teams promoted from the First Division last season were not necessarily the best on the park but they had that drive and desire to get what they wanted."
