"We have a lot of games, a lot of Tuesdays and Saturdays, that will require a lot of energy and mental strength," said the 27-year-old.

"I'm glad the squad got bigger and the manager can use a lot of players."

Manager Paul Jewell was able to keep hold of all of his players and added

Luton winger Andy Drury

and

Hull midfielder Jimmy Bullard

to his armoury.

Obviously we can't win every game but we have to go out and want to win every game

Ipswich goalkeeper Marton Fulop

And after a battling League Cup defeat at the hands of Arsenal and Saturday's 3-2 win over Doncaster, Fulop believes Town are gaining confidence in their pursuit of league safety.

"We take a lot of good experiences and we need to build on the bad experiences," said the Hungary international.

"Everybody's focused on the league now, the most important thing is for us to climb up the table.

"Obviously we can't win every game but we have to go out and want to win every game.

"And if we give 100% like we did the last two games we'll be alright."
